Gerber files and a parts list for the VU2DLE board are available here: https://github.com/VU2DLE/Radioberry_... You can download the instructions and software from this link, or follow the instructions below: https://mega.nz/file/0hwTXILI#0Tl-17Q... Software Installation Instructions: Download the NUKE flash file. If you've previously used the RP2040 for something else, this will wipe it clean. https://datasheets.raspberrypi.com/so... To flash it, connect the RP2040 to your computer while holding down the power button. A folder will open. Copy the .UF2 file into it, and the board will restart. Once wiped. We downloaded UF2 to flash the board: https://adafruit-circuit-python.s3.am... And we copied it to the RP2040. It restarts and appears as CIRCUITPY instead of RP. Download CircuitPython 8.x: https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_... From the adafruit-circuitpython-bundle-8.x-mpy-20250213.zip file, copy the following files: adafruit_matrixkeypad.mpy adafruit_midi directory To the /lib directory of the RP2040 Download the code.py file from here: https://framagit.org/remis732/pico204... Download it and copy it to the root directory of the RP2040. Disk Eject CIRCUITPY Reset the board (disconnect and reconnect power) https://mikatahara.github.io/SendRece... To test it, select Pico Circuitpython usb_midi.por from the dropdown menu. Data should appear when you type or move the buttons. If so, it's ready to be plugged into the Radioberry and have the key assignments configured. Plug it into the Radioberry, and in the MIDI menu, select the board. Move a potentiometer or press a button and assign the corresponding option in the menu. After assigning each button, click OK. The changes are saved. #radioberry #rp2040 #hamradio #diyelectronics #vu2dle The intro music is a sample of "Slighshot" by Steve Adams, in the public domain. The background music is Indeep (c)2002 by Wagner García and Leonardo Segura, recorded at Wagner Prat de Llobregat studios. It was provided for these videos by its author. -
